 › What is it?

It is a central nervous systems depressant and a rapid-acting general anesthetic. It has a sedative-hypnotic, analgesic and hallucinogenic properties. Also blocks the normal thinking and most sensory input and brings on temporary memory loss. Ketamine has become common in all night parties and nightclubs.

   

  How KETAMINE
is used?

Snorted or smoked with marijuana or tobacco products, and injected intramuscularly.

Ketamine usually comes as a liquid in small pharmaceutical bottles, and is most often cooked into a white powder.
 

  Effects and dangers:

At higher doses, Large doses can produce vomiting and convulsions and may lead to oxygen starvation to the brain and muscles; one gram can cause death. Also cause delirium, amnesia, impaired motor function, high blood pressure, depression, and potentially fatal respiratory and heart problems. Flashbacks may even occur one year after use Low-dose intoxication from ketamine results in impaired attention, learning ability, and memory, euphoria, dream-like state and hallucinations.

Long-term effects include tolerance and possible physical and/or psychological dependence.
