Effects and dangers:
At higher doses, Large doses can produce vomiting and
convulsions and may lead to oxygen starvation to the brain and muscles;
one gram can cause death. Also cause delirium, amnesia, impaired
motor function, high blood pressure, depression, and potentially
fatal respiratory and heart problems. Flashbacks may even occur
one year after use Low-dose intoxication from ketamine results in
impaired attention, learning ability, and memory, euphoria, dream-like
state and hallucinations.
Long-term effects include tolerance and possible physical
and/or psychological dependence.
